Keith Freemantle Memorial
Scholarship Opportunity
Keith Freemantle was a dynamic member of the Uxbridge
Soccer Club community who embodied this mission. He was a
person who cheered everyone on and saw the good in all. He
loved to chat with everyone and encouraged others to be
involved in the soccer community. He volunteered selflessly;
giving back to the community. He was a role model,
exemplifying fun, fair-play, and great sportsmanship. This
scholarship, established in memory of Keith Freemantle,
seeks to honour those that exemplify his life as mentor,
sportsman, volunteer, and friend.
There will be two (2) scholarships of $500 each. Each
scholarship will be awarded to an individual who has been
actively involved with the Uxbridge Soccer Club. At its
option, the club may choose to award only one scholarship in
the amount of $1000. If no suitable candidate applies, the
club may choose not to award a scholarship in that year.
Applications for the scholarship can be obtained from the
soccer club bulletin board in the arena or can be downloaded
here.
